Apostle David and Pastor Yvette Gaines

On June 5, 1993 David and Yvette Gaines were joined in holy matrimony and from this union came four children:  Jordyn, David, the late Angelika and Isaiah.

In August of 1998, with the blessing of his father Bishop Alden Gaines, David Gaines stretched forth his pastoral wings and began an extension of his father’s ministry and accepted the call to pastor New Comfort Ministries International.   In October of that same year Yvette Gaines, became a licensed minister of the gospel and accepted the role as Co-Pastor.   Just as they were adjusting to their new assignment, it became time once again to work hand – in – hand with Bishop Gaines.  Apostle Gaines and Bishop Gaines heard from God and decided to merge the two congregations, which took place on April 20, 2003 and is now known as New Consolation Christian Center. Apostle David and Pastor Yvette Gaines serve as the Senior Pastors.    

Apostle David Gaines, in addition to reaching people with the perfect love of God as the senior pastor of NCCC, is also a respected worshipper and psalmist.  In August 2003, Sandtown, a children’s singing group based in Baltimore, Maryland, featured Apostle Gaines along with musical greats such as Michael W. Smith, Israel Houghton, and Out of Eden on a CD project, which was nominated for a Stellar and Dove awards.  Known as a leader ahead of his time, he is invested in seeing individuals maximize their lives by living out their God – given destinies.

Co-Pastor Yvette Gaines, is a powerful teacher of the gospel.  In 2002, with vision and faith, she launched Dominion Arts Training Center. She is also the Director of the God’s Messengers Dance Ministry.  Through this ministry, she hosted the tri-state area’s first “International Dance Conference” in April of 2004.  Pastor Yvette Gaines is destined to take the arts to the nations and release a whole new level of worship through instruction and development.  She is dedicated to the technical and spiritual development of artisans.

Together they are David and Yvette Gaines Ministries (DYGM). David and Yvette Gaines Ministries believe in the power of God for the restoration of dreams, destinies, and purposes for personal lives, families, communities, and even the world. As the evangelistic arm of New Consolation Christian Center, DYGM is working to reconcile mankind back to its original state of health, wealth, and prosperity.
