New Consolation Ministry Bio
As God’s Word says, “to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, KJV). After much prayer and meditation, on Sunday, April 20, 2003, Bishop Alden A. Gaines and his son, Apostle David J. Gaines, combined the visions of two ministries, Consolation Baptist Church and New Comfort Ministries International, resulting in the birth of New Consolation Christian Center (NCCC). NCCC is a nondenominational, multicultural ministry that is committed to strengthening families and leading people into their God-given destinies by unlocking their dreams and awakening them to their purpose for living.
The two ministries’ methods of building God’s kingdom have changed, but their message has remained the same. With a combined total of over six decades of ministry experience, both father and son are teaming together to tear down the enemy’s stronghold of ignorance over the children of God. Apostle David and Pastor Yvette Gaines are at the helm of local pastoring, and Bishop Gaines and Pastor Marie have entered into a season of ministry development and church planting. While traveling throughout various parts of the world teaching and preaching the Word of God, Bishop Gaines oversees the development and progression of “son” churches of NCCC. Today, with over 200 members and counting, along with fifteen distinct ministries, New Consolation Christian Center is comforting this world with the good news of dream fulfillment found in Christ Jesus our Lord.
